Tecmo
A pixel font for modern times.
Tecmo is a brutalist reinterpretation of the old bitmap fonts from the '80s that were everywhere in video games. If you played games like Tetris, Out Run, Ninja Gaiden, and Star Force, you'll likely recognize the inspiration. In other words, this typeface was created at some point in the past and updated in the present to become your next pixel font, with a few touches of classic Grotesks and Sans-Serifs of our era.

192 characters and symbols. Uppercase only.
The Tecmo glyphs were designed for maximum readability, both on screens and in print. The "digitization" of this font — ensuring it clearly marks its presence on a timeline and in the collective memories of most people — was further enhanced by reimagining these timeless classics with an aesthetic that is highly futuristic and brutalist, yet also very precise.

The Tecmo font package, named as a direct nod to a renowned Japanese video game company from the 1980s (yes, the legendary Tecmo!), features 8 styles: Bold, Regular, Light, and Thin, along with their Italic counterparts. It has been meticulously crafted to elevate your next design projects to the next level.
This font bridges the gap between the analog past—aspiring to be digital—and the present, which aims to establish itself with a futuristic vibe. Additionally, Tecmo is an excellent typography choice for social media posts or for making a bold impact in editorial projects, print materials, or packaging that needs to communicate a forward-thinking vision.
